Job Purpose

​Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Pharmacy- Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacotherapeutics - College of Pharmacy

Main accountabilities & expectations

- Organize the clinical training for students and -perform regular visitation for different training sites.

- Grade students' assignments and coursework for pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacy courses.

- Run pharmacy practice tutorials and labs when needed.

- Teach Pharmacy practice and Clinical Pharmacy courses as needed.

- To be engaged in research projects related to pharmacy practice and clinical pharmacy.

- To be engaged in university and community services.

Preferred Qualification & Experience

​

Must has a first Degree in Pharmacy.

- PhD degree in Clinical Pharmacy/Pharmacy Practice or has a PharmD degree with 2 years of residency from accredited university is a MUST.

- Two years of teaching experience.

-Excellent communication skills English and Arabic  (speaking and writing)

Competencies

Has a previous experience in running and organizing students' clinical training (Preferred).

- Self-motivated and can work with a little guidance.

- Has excellent organizational skills.

- Able to effectively run pharmacy practice tutorials and labs.

- Has a very good research record.
